Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy; History of Ethics
Dhananjay Jagannathan joined the Department in 2017 after teaching for one year at Dartmouth College. He mainly works in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy and the history of ethics, but he is also interested in contemporary virtue ethics, political philosophy, and topics at the intersection of philosophy and literature. He is writing a book on Aristotle’s practical epistemology, which was also the topic of his doctoral dissertation at the University of Chicago.
