Giulia Bonasio Awarded Chateaubriand Fellowship

What's Happening

Giulia is one of the recipients of the Chateaubriand Fellowship. The Fellowship is a grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States. It allowed Giulia to spend one semester (Spring-Summer 2018) doing dissertation research at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She regularly attended the seminar on desire in Aristotle, as well as the seminars organized by the Centre Léon Robin in Paris. She presented her research on "Desire for the natural goods in Aristotle's Eudemian Ethics" during the workshop on desire. The time spent in Paris helped Giulia finish writing her dissertation on Happiness and Superlative Value in the Eudemian Ethics. See more about Giulia Bonasio.
